The first thing that really strikes you about the Result Reversible Storm Stuff Fleece Jacket when you try it on is how incredibly warm this garment is. This is obviously due to the fact that it is a two-piece jacket with a waterproof polyester outer coat that has double stitched and paint seams, while underneath gets the benefit of a warm, thick fleece.

As a jacket it is suitable for the coldest and harshest weather conditions, with its windproof and waterproof outer keeping the rain and wind away from the warm, snuggly fleece lining. It also has a fold-away hood that you can take out of the collar if you get caught in heavy rain.

Disadvantages – personally, I feel that this is an excellent jacket, with a warm lining. I say that because when it is reversed as a fleece the water proof jacket becomes quite bulky and uncomfortable. whereas this is an excellent product when worn as a jacket, I think it becomes impractical to wear as a fleece. One further problem that this causes is that the jacket does not have a secure inside pocket. This can mean the wearer putting their wallet into a sloping side pocket on the inside of their coat, as opposed to a secure inside top pocket. this can also make this coat not really suitable for businesses such as electrical installation companies or telecoms companies to give their service engineers and field technicians.

In conclusion, in my opinion if you are looking for a good quality top performing waterproof jacket then this garment is a good choice. However, if you are looking for a comfortable waterproof fleece I would look elsewhere.
